Do you have a cancellation policy ?

You may cancel or reschedule your appointment conveniently online or over the phone up to 14 hours before your appointment time. Cancellations within 24 hours will be charged a fee of 50% of the scheduled service cost. If you have not cancelled or rescheduled and simply do not show up for your appointment you will be charged to full price of the scheduled service.

How should I prepare for my first visit?

Prior to your first appointment you will receive an email with a link to complete your new client forms. Please have this completed before your appointment. This will ensure that filling out paperwork does not cut into your massage time.

Please be on time and ready to relax!

Do I need to fully undress for massage?

It is entirely up to you as the client. Clients are always draped with a sheet in a very modest fashion, so that only the areas being worked on at the time are uncovered. As a licensed massage therapist I work within my clients comfort level. Many of my clients choose to undress completely, others choose to leave on undergarments, socks and such. On occasion I've had clients that choose to remain fully dressed, which makes massage challenging but not impossible. Client comfort is key.

In what stages of pregnancy is prenatal massage safe and beneficial?

Every Stage! It is an absolute myth that you should avoid massage in your first trimester. I offer Swedish Prenatal massage to women in all stages of pregnancy from early first trimester up to the day of delivery. Some high risk conditions may limit this or require a doctors note to receive massage, but for a typical healthy pregnancy, massage is safe and very beneficial in all trimesters.

Do you take walk in clients?

No. All services are by appointment only. Same day appointments are a rarity, but do occur due to last minute cancellations or rescheduling, so it never hurts to check the website or send a message. It is encouraged to book in advance to ensure you can get in at your ideal time. You may book conveniently through the website or you may call, text, or message via the Sweet Sage Massage & Wellness social media pages to schedule. All messages are returned at the earliest convenience.

Can I get a massage if I have trouble laying on my back or on my abdomen for long period of time?

Absolutely!
Bolsters and pillows can be used to adjust your position or you can be massaged while on your side if that is more comfortable to you.

What about COVID? Do I need to wear a mask? What if I just have a cold?

If you are in any way sick you will need to reschedule you appointment. Please do not arrive to an appointment If you are actively ill or have had a fever for any reason within 36 hours.

At this time clients are not required to wear a mask. You may if you prefer to but you don't have to.

I will wear a mask during massage for the time being.
